Poco A Competitor To Asus Zenfone 5Z And One Plus 6?

22 August 2018 marks the launch of Xiaomi's new Sub-Brand Smartphone Series Poco. Well, it is completely clear that Xiaomi is trying to move on from it's not so successful MI series and trying to start something new moving away from the high hopes of people from its Redmi Series.

Xiaomi launched it's first smartphone Poco F1 of Poco Sub-Brand and it is going to be hell of a competitor to One Plus 6 and Asus Zenfone 5Z and just not that it is the lowest price smartphone to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SOC processor. There's a lot to this phone let's get to it.

Specifications Of Poco F1:~

At the front, the F1 has a beautiful and big 6.18-inch display with a notch and an aspect ratio 18.7:9 packed with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. A tiny LED light which notifies when a notification has arrived and remains on when the smartphone is on charging is within the notch. On the front, there is also a 20mp  front facing camera which is placed within the notch with an infrared camera and infrared emitter for facial recognition. The power buttons are placed on the right-hand side, where the power button can be used easily whereas volume buttons might need a bit of stretching. The phone has a hybrid slot on the other side meaning that either two sims( both supporting 4G ) can be used or one sim and one memory card.

At the back, the F1 has a dual camera set-up of a 12mp primary sensor and 5mp depth sensor with dual LED flash. The fingerprint sensor is just placed below it at the position where any of our fingers will rest. It has a polycarbonated back. Little bit upper up from the back's end there is the logo of Poco, down from it there is written: "by Xiaomi".

Talking about what's inside the phone, it is power packed with 4000mah battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor SOC. With this smartphone it seems like Xiaomi is trying to build a bridge between MIUI and Stock Android and has completely different theme known as "Poco Theme" it runs Android Oreo 8.1 and has MIUI 9.0. Xiaomi has promised to give MIUI 10 and Update for Android Pie 9.0 soon after it comes to market on 29 August 12p.m.

• The phone comes with a USB Type-C port.
• In the box, we will get Qualcomm Quick Charge 3 for fast charging.
• When the phone is booted it may only ask for fingerprint sensor but face recognition can be later set in the settings.
• It is said the phone uses the liquid cooling technique to stop the mobile from heating.
• The phone contain some MI apps such MI community, MI store with other Microsoft apps.
• The phone comes in Rosso Red, Steel Blue, and Graphite Black colours.
• It comes in Three variants- 6GB Ram 64GB Storage~R.20,999 ; 6GB Ram 128GB Storage~Rs.23,999 ; 8GB Ram 256GB Storage~Rs.28,999.
• It also has a  Armoured Edition which comes in Kevlar for Rs.29,999 and in 8GB Ram 256GB Storage variant.

Conclusion:~

Overall the phone  is damn good and is the lowest priced smartphone to receive Snapdragon 845 SOC processor and yes a good competitor for One Plus 6 and Asus Zenfone 5Z.
