A flaw has been found in the whatsapp for spreading misinformation in group or private chats of people.

On Wednesday  Reasearchers of Israeli Cybersecurity Firm has found a flaw in whatsapp which can create spreading misinformation in certain group or private chats

Whatsapp could allow hackers to modify in group or private chats and to send fake messages in somebody's group or private chat

Checkpoint informed that it increases the vulnerability of hacking possibility "To intercept and manipulate messages in group or private conversation " as well as "spread misinformation in conversations"

The report of the flaw comes from facebook -owned is coming under increasing scrutiny as a means of spread of misinformation because of its popularity and convenience in sending messages

Last month,the app announced the limit of sending messages following threats by the Indian Government to take action among a group of people were butchered for child kidnapping and for other crimes circulated wildly by some people and getting viral

Whatsapp has said in his statement regarding misinformation that "This claim has nothing to do with the security of end-to-end encryption, which ensures only the sender and recipient can read messages sent on WhatsApp.”

Whatsapp has made some changes in group chats regarding this misinformation.
